Mile High Double Dip: Metrolist Purchases Second RETS IQ Contact™ Instance to Help Power Metrolist Marketplace

(ATLANTA, GA) November 9, 2011 - Metrolist, Inc., having recently launched its MLS Marketplace project, turns to Bridge Interactive Group for a second instance of its Contact RETS server for scalability.

"Bridge’s RETS IQ Contact server has been an extremely user-friendly solution to onboard and manage multiple RETS partners," says Guy Morissette, Metrolist IT Director. "Soon, we’ll be implementing an additional Contact Instance, which will be critical to the scalability and redundancy as we grow Metrolist’s MLS Marketplace catalog.  We’re pleased to be able to partner with Bridge Interactive to help us make our Marketplace vision a reality and achieve success."

Metrolist’s Marketplace is an interesting project, an e-commerce store where Colorado real estate professionals can discover business tools, read peer reviews, and purchase products that help brokers and associates succeed in their business. Metrolist anticipates an increasing number of vendors will offer their solutions in Marketplace and that many of these vendors will need to access MLS listing data via RETS to power their tools. That’s where Bridge comes in.

Help Desk or Administrative staff can easily identify failed queries and identify the problem, such as a misspelled word or an improper character. Failed queries are displayed in red which makes them easy to identify and therefore, quicker to manage.
