Bridge Interactive Group Releases RETS IQ™ Java RETS Library API
ATLANTA, Georgia, July 9, 2008 - Bridge Interactive Group announced today they are releasing a Java RETS Library API for use by developers across the real estate industry. The RETS IQ Contact™ Java RETS Library is an API designed to allow developers to connect to RETS servers and execute searches, download images, request metadata and perform updates.
“RETS IQ Contact™ RETS Library is designed to be simple to use by developers. Providing easy access to the most common usage without bloating the API with every bell and whistle defined in the RETS specification,” said Marc Smith, Programming Director at Bridge. “Using this API will make the development cycle for creating RETS tools more efficient, it allows a programmer to build great RETS products without having to learn the nuts and bolts of RETS.”
Some of the key features of Bridge’s RETS IQ Contact™ Java RETS Library include:
- RETS 1.0, 1.5 and 1.7 compatible
- Implements login, logout, action, search, getObject, getMetadata and update transaction access
- Ability to save and load metadata
- Clear and descriptive error messages
- Underlying code is part of the RETS IQ Contact™ code base and is constantly maintained and kept up to date
