ATLANTA, Georgia, September 21, 2009 - Bridge Interactive Group announced RETS IQ Contact™ Customers Pass all RETS Compliance Tests.
RETS IQ Contact™ is an MLS level RETS access filtering, monitoring and management tool which adds further fine-grained control and usage transparency to an existing RETS server or can be configured against an MLS system database to act as a full RETS server. RETS IQ Contact™ now includes a RETS Compliance Module which corrects any back-end RETS server problems.
Marc Smith, Bridge’s Programming Director states, "Going through our different clients and different vendors was an interesting exercise. Fortunately with the RETS IQ Contact™ framework we were easily able to manipulate non-compliant responses and metadata and whip them into shape. Not only does it dynamically alter the metadata to make it compliant but RETS IQ Contact™ is able to take broken XML responses and badly formatted data, correct the errors and return valid responses all on the fly. As a bonus, because the system is version agnostic on input and throughout the system, outputting the responses in all versions of RETS was already available to us irrelevant of the target server’s version."

With so many variations in RETS server implementations Bridge decided to participate heavily with the RETS Compliance Workgroup in an effort to ensure seamless testing for all RETS IQ Contact™ customers before December when NAR is requiring all MLSs to offer a compliant RETS system. Bridge’s Development and Operations staff have paid keen attention to the progress of the NAR Compliance testing project. RETS IQ Contact™ is able to correct any issues coming out the customer’s RETS servers, enabling the server to "speak" RETS 1.5, 1.7 and 1.7.2 regardless of the RETS version provided with their MLS system.
